This is a bulk cleanup of all of the functions that have since been surpassed by their desktop counterparts. A lot of effort went into these original features but the effort that was expended to make the desktop better far exceeded this. I thank the efforts of everyone who helped to make the web version a reality in the first place since it provided the strong base that SabreTools has become. This will still be maintained purely as a way of checking files online as will be required when the WoD DATs are properly recreated.
Wizard of DATz Redux
Introduction
This project is the continuation of the work done by RomShepherd board member Wizard of DATz to create a series of custom DAT files for various websites and systems, and to create merged DATs that remove redundant ROMs from similar DATs. There is also an ongoing desktop port called SabreTools that can be found here.
Features
The WoD Redux project consists of two major components: user-facing and administrative tools.
User-facing:
The following are features available to all users who wish to use the tool when it is hosted:
- Generate DATs in RomVault and XML formats
- View data that is in the database, including game, file, source, and system information
Administrative
The following are features only available to trusted users of the tool when it is hosted:
- Import DATs in RomVault and XML formats
- Manually edit system, source, game, and rom information
- Perform database maintenance
- Check for newly released games from a variety of websites

Any feature suggestions or code contributions are accepted. Please take the time to look over the documentation as well as the existing code to see proper formatting and documentation practices.
