Opening a new Terminal instance attaches it to a window on a different desktop even if new instance behaviour is configured otherwise #23810

Steps to reproduce

  1. In settings, set "New instance behavior" to "Attach to the most recently used window on this desktop"
  2. Close all Terminal windows
  3. Switch to Desktop 1
  4. Open a new instance of Terminal
  5. Switch to Desktop 2
  6. Open a new instance of Terminal

Expected Behavior

A new window is created on Desktop 2 and the instance is attached there.

Actual Behavior

The new instance is attached to the window on Desktop 1, switching the active desktop to it in the process.

Duplicate of #18652 and #19545? Should be fixed by #19458 but hasn't made its way through to a release yet afaik

Yeah, I have the same problem as those issues. Sorry for making a duplicate. I think I mistyped "Attach" as "Attatch" when first searching.
