38962b9aff spi: prefix modalias with "spi:"
This makes it consistent with other buses (platform, i2c, vio, ...).  I'm
not sure why we use the prefixes, but there must be a reason.

This was easy enough to do it, and I did it.

3b85c4eade ENGR00125489 esdhc: Fix the failure in DLL configurations

Make sure that IPG, HLK, PER are enabled, and SDCLK is disabled.

fcabf10640 ENGR00125338 esdhc: A stop in audio playback when insert the card
There would be a small silent stop in the audio playback
when insert the cards into the slot during the audio playback.
The root cause is the mis-spell delay that would be 10 times larger
than expection. Change the delay back to original expection.

7d6d776d6f ENGR00122851 WIFI: Faided to use WiFi SDIO card at SD slot0
The WP bit is set in the 4Bytes wifi write operations
accidentally.
That would cause the INT wouldn't be generated.

There is no such kind issue in SD/MMC write operations.
Since that the BUS load on wifi maybe much lighter than
that when SD/MMC is used.

Remove the 100K pull up pad configuration on the eSDHC1
WP pin can solve this issue.
Or
Remove the SION configuration can fix this issue too.
In the end, the second method is used.

Unify the platform data configurations, and enable the registers
dump when there are errors in the execution of esdhc driver.

Resolved the urgly IO bench and some cards

The root cause is the clk unit of clock should
be Hz, but not the KHz

33d8915245 ENGR00119432 MX35 system can't re-boot up when SD/MMC boot is used.
Do not disable the eSDHC clk on MX35 3DS board,
since SYSTEM can't boot up after the reset key
is pressed when the SD/MMC boot mode is used.
The root cause is that the ROM code don't ensure
the SD/MMC clk is running when boot system.

b6831dd13b ENGR00118900 [Mx35]Unexpected messages when insert/extract cards.
The unexpected messages are printed by the kernel.
The root cause is that the I2C IO func can't be called in the
interrupt context, since the SD/MMC port and CD PIN is logically
walk through the MCU I2C bus.
Solution:Don't call the I2C IO func in the interrupt context in
card detection IRQ handler, move them to work-queue enviroment.

904f470bbf mmc_spi: fail gracefully if host or card do not support the switch command

Some time ago, I have send a patch to the mmc_spi subsystem changing the
error codes.  This was after a discussion with Pierre about using EINVAL
only for non-recoverable errors.  This patch was accepted as

Unfortunately, several weeks later, I realized that this patch has opened
a little can of worms because there are SD cards on the market which

a) claim that they support the switch command
AND
b) refuse to execute this command if operating in SPI mode.

So, such a card would get unusuable in an embedded linux system in SPI
mode, because the init sequence terminates with an error.

This patch adds the missing error codes to the caller of the switch
command and restores the old behaviour to fail gracefully if these
commands can not execute.

driver to the recent sg API changes which require that either SG_MITER_TO_SG
or SG_MITER_FROM_SG is set. SG_MITER_TO_SG calls flush_kernel_dcache_page()

a9e58f2573 sdhci: get rid of "frequency too high" flood when using eSDHC
Since commit 8dfd0374be ("MMC core: limit
minimum initialization frequency to 400kHz") MMC core checks for minimum
frequency, and that causes following messages flood when using eSDHC
controllers:

  ...
  mmc0: Minimum clock frequency too high for identification mode
  mmc0: Minimum clock frequency too high for identification mode
  ...

The warnings are legitimate, since if we'd use 133 MHz clocks for standard
SDHCI controllers, we'd not able to scale frequency down to 400 kHz.

But eSDHC controllers have a non-standard SD clock management, so we can
divide clock by 256 * 16, not just 256.

This patch introduces get_min_clock() callback for sdhci core and
implements it for sdhci-of driver, and thus fixes the issue.

6cdbf73449 mvsdio: fix handling of partial word at the end of PIO transfer
Standard data flow for MMC/SD/SDIO cards requires that the mvsdio
controller be set for big endian operation.  This is causing problems
with buffers which length is not a multiple of 4 bytes as the last
partial word doesn't get shifted all the way and stored properly in
memory.  Let's compensate for this.

70d6027ff2 spi: add spi_master flag word
Add a new spi_master.flags word listing constraints relevant to that
controller.  Define the first constraint bit: a half duplex restriction.
Include that constraint in the OMAP1 MicroWire controller driver.

Have the mmc_spi host be the first customer of this flag.  Its coding
relies heavily on full duplex transfers, so it must fail when the
underlying controller driver won't perform them.

(The spi_write_then_read routine could use it too: use the
temporarily-withdrawn full-duplex speedup unless this flag is set, in
which case the existing code applies.  Similarly, any spi_master
implementing only SPI_3WIRE should set the flag.)

557b06971b sdhci: Specific quirk vor VIA SDHCI controller in VX855ES

delay between applying power and applying clock.

This issue has been discovered and documented by the OLPC XO1.5 team.

5fe23c7f51 sdhci: Add support for hosts that are only capable of 1-bit transfers
Some hosts (hardware configurations, or particular SD/MMC slots) may
not support 4-bit bus. For example, on MPC8569E-MDS boards we can
switch between serial (1-bit only) and nibble (4-bit) modes, thought
we have to disable more peripherals to work in 4-bit mode.

Along with some small core changes, this patch modifies sdhci-of
driver, so that now it looks for "sdhci,1-bit-only" property in the
device-tree, and if specified we enable a proper quirk.

1388eefd5a sdhci: Add SDHCI_QUIRK_NO_MULTIBLOCK quirk
Add quirk to show the controller cannot do multi-block IO.

This is mainly for the Samsung SDHCI controller that currently
cannot manage to do multi-block PIO without timing out.

051913dada mmc_block: do not DMA to stack
In the write recovery routine, the data to get from the card
is allocated from the stack. The DMA mapping documentation says
explicitly stack memory is not mappable by any of the DMA calls.

Change to using kmalloc() to allocate the memory for the result
from the card and then free it once we've finished with the
transaction.
